New Facility

New Facility Exterior floorplan

The building at 1620 Stout Rd. was originally constructed in 1939 as a feed mill.  It previously housed the Food Pantry, warehouse, Community Connections Program and administrative offices.  Due to increasing need, program expansion and the deteriorating state of the facility, the Stepping Stones Board of Directors determined that a larger, more efficient space was critically needed and would greatly enhance the services Stepping Stones can provide.
Cedar Falls Building Systems and Architectural Design Group, both based in Menomonie, designed a site plan and building to address Stepping Stones’ current and future needs.  The new location is the L-shaped lot (almost 2 acres) that borders the old site to the south and west at 1602 Stout Rd.  The property was purchased in 2009 and the building was completed in the summer of 2011.  Funds are still needed.
