NOW OPEN: Empty Bowls Online Auction!

Introducing a great way to support Stepping Stones, have fun … and maybe get in a little early Christmas shopping to boot! As of 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, bidding has officially started. The auction is set to close at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4.

All you have to do is CLICK HERE  to browse through a terrific catalog of nearly 60 special packages, unique items, and gift certificates donated by local businesses, individuals and artisans! (Pictured here is just some of the really cool stuff you can choose from!)

Winning bidders will be able to pick up their items at Stepping Stones (1602 Stout Road, Menomonie) between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6 and on Thursday, Oct. 8. We’ll have masked and gloved volunteers on hand under the outdoor canopies to safely bring you your goodies while maintaining proper social distancing, of course!

Empty Bowls online auction evolved after one of our biggest and most popular fundraisers – set for March 28 at Menomonie High School – was canceled after all schools were ordered to be closed by March 18. By that time, however, many folks had already begun to drop off their donations for the silent auction at Stepping Stones.

To transform all those generous gifts into funds to fill the ever-increasing demands on the food pantry as the effects of the pandemic continue to impact our friends and neighbors in Dunn County …

WE INVITE YOU TO BID EARLY AND OFTEN!

What’s Happening at Stepping Stones!

Stepping Stones is temporarily CLOSED to all Walk-Ins. Only staff & volunteers are permitted in the building. Thank you for your understanding.

The Food Pantry is OPEN 4 days a week for curbside pick-up of pre-packed boxes/bags only.  Anyone in need of food is welcome!

Hours have not changed, just days —  Monday: 11:00 – 2:00; Wednesday: 3:00 – 6:00; Friday: 11:00 – 2:00; Saturday: 10:00 – Noon

We have plenty of food!  We have reduced the number of pick up days to allow volunteers enough time to pack boxes and to reduce the number of volunteers we need.
