Pantry hours and days have changed! Distribution is now 3 days per week: Monday 11am – 2 pm;  Wednesday 3 – 6 pm; Saturday 10 am – Noon

Holiday Schedule: We are closed on the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day (& the Friday after)

Bad Weather Closings: Stepping Stones follows the Menomonie School District’s weather closing schedule. If schools are closed or dismissed early due to weather, there will be no curbside food pantry pickup. Please check our Facebook page or check weather closing alerts on WEAU or WQOW.

Due to the ongoing risks of COVID-19 contagion, all food distribution is curbside pick-up only. Pre-packed bags/boxes of non-perishables and fresh food are sized for families of 4. If there are more in your household, you will receive additional boxes.

Please MAKE SURE there is room in the trunk or hatchback of your vehicle before you arrive for volunteers to load the food without having to move anything. Please pop the trunk/back when you pull up or open it before that if you can’t pop it. If there is not room, you’ll be asked to drive to another area of the parking lot where you will be able to load the food yourself.

Stepping Stones is CLOSED to all WALK-INS. Only scheduled staff and volunteers may enter the building. If you have other needs or questions, please call or email us: 715-235-2920;

If you receive items you don’t want, please offer them to others you know who may need them. Nonperishables may be returned to the designated donation area of our building, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you need additional food (or just want to enjoy someone else’s cooking!) visit these community meal sites for FREE take-out dinners, 5:00-6:00 pm: TUESDAY’S TABLE—St. Joseph Church, 10th St & Wilson Ave.; WEDNESDAY’S TABLE—Christ Lutheran Church, 1306 Wilcox St.; THURSDAY’S TABLE—First Congregational Church, 420 Wilson Ave.

PROJECT SAM (weekend kids meals)
If you have children who need weekend meal bags (Project SAM), they are now available by request at Stepping Stones every Saturday during the curbside pickup hours — or at the Wednesday’s and Thursday’s Table dinners.

Senior Commodities
Once per month Senior Commodity Box distribution will continue as part of curbside pick-up. Participants DO NOT need to sign for their box. Volunteers will continue to make pick-up reminder calls and answer any questions those receiving commodities may have at that time. If you are 60 or over and aren’t registered, you may qualify for this program. To check, give us a call at 715-235-2920.

We have made these adjustments for your safety as well as that of our staff and volunteers.
Thank you for your understanding.
Stay safe, eat healthy, take care!
