Hours have changed, just not the days! Distribution is now 4 days per week:

Monday 11am – 2 pm;  Wednesday 3 – 6 pm; Friday 11am – 2 pm; Saturday 10 am – Noon

All food distribution is curbside pick-up only. Pre-packed bags/boxes of non-perishables and fresh food are sized for families of 4. If there are more in your household, you will receive additional boxes. Households of 1-2 people are asked to pick-up only twice per month and households of 3 and above only once per week, so there will be enough food for everyone and so we’re able to keep up with the packing.
There is no advantage to coming early as all boxes have the same quantity and types of food. Please MAKE SURE there is room in the trunk or hatchback of your vehicle before you arrive for volunteers to load the food without having to move anything. If there isn’t room you’ll be asked to drive through and come back again after you’ve made room. Please pop the trunk/back when you pull up or open it before that if you can’t pop it.
If you receive items you don’t want, please offer them to others you know who may need them. Please don’t return them to the pantry right now as we don’t have enough staff/volunteers to handle this.

If you need additional food (or just want to enjoy someone else’s cooking!) visit these community meal sites for FREE take-out dinners, 5:00-6:00 pm: TUESDAY’S TABLE—St. Joseph Church, 10th St & Wilson Ave.; WEDNESDAY’S TABLE—Christ Lutheran Church, 1306 Wilcox St.; THURSDAY’S TABLE—First Congregational Church, 420 Wilson Ave.

Stepping Stones is CLOSED to all WALK-INS. Only staff and volunteers may enter the building.
If you have other needs or questions please call or email us: 715.235.2920,

PROJECT SAM (weekend kids meals)
If you have children who need weekend meal bags (Project SAM), they are now available by request at Stepping Stones every Fri. & Sat. during the curbside pickup hours or at the Wednesday and Thursday Table Dinners.

Friday Free Produce
Friday pick-up of produce only is canceled because we receive the produce too late in the day to get it packaged. It will now be pre-boxed and available Sat. & Mon. (while supply lasts) during curbside pickup hours.

Pop-Up Pantries
Semi-monthly curbside food distribution events take place on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays at the Sand Creek Arts Bdg. (E9311 Co. Rd. I), 11:30 am-12:30 pm & the Ridgeland Community Center (200 Diamond St.) 2-3 pm. On the 2nd & 4th Thursdays, pop-ups are held in Downsville at New Hope Lutheran’s fellowship hall (N2698 460th St.), 11:30 am-12:30 pm & in Colfax at the Viking Bowl (N8590 State Road 40) from 2-3 pm.

Senior Commodities
Once per month Senior Commodity Box distribution will continue as part of curbside pick-up. Participants DO NOT need to sign for their box. Volunteers will continue to make pick-up reminder calls and answer any questions those receiving commodities may have at that time. If you are 60 or over you may qualify for this program. Give us a call to check: 715-235-2920.

We have made these adjustments for your safety as well as that of our staff and volunteers.
Thank you for your understanding.
Stay safe, eat healthy, take care!
